Little Feat - Little Feat (33rpm, 180g)

Blues, R & B, Country, Rock & Roll: these are all Little Feet. Was taken Discovered and signed the band in 1969 from producer Russ Titelman, two years later, the eponymous debut album was released and became a huge success. Unfortunately only at plate critics.

Little Feet consisted not only of gifted musicians. What was the dark humor of the band leader Lowell George excelled. George, who played previously also in Zappa's Mothers of Invention, wrote short stories, songs about truckers on speed and pot, waitresses and lovelorn losers for this album. So, among other things, the trucker anthem "Willin '", which is present here in an acoustic version with Ry Cooder on guitar. Even before the publication of the LP coverte Linda Ronstadt and the title for the second album "Sailin 'Shoes" took the band it all over again - this time in a band version.

Ed Ward wrote in 1971 in Rolling Stone: "I think I've heard the album 50 times since I got it and it gets better and better Maybe you should point out that the critics were never quite sure whether the album. now 4 ½ or more 5 star deserved. "

The MFSL version contains new, exclusively for MFSL authored Cover Texts from producer Russ Titelman. Numbered, limited edition gatefold sleeve.
