Foreigner - Foreigner (33 rpm, 180 g)

The debut album by Foreigner from 1977 showed in the US that good old rock would be not just displaced from the oncoming wave from England punk. Foreigner celebrated here, which should be called once "arena rock" in later years. Music to which each can unpack the air guitar and with which you can fill stadiums. The album was awarded five times over the years with platinum for its enormous sales figures and the hit "Cold As Ice" part in the program every rock radio.
Although this album has been published several times again, the team of Mobile Fidelity can accomplish a small wonderful here. It's Rob Loverde managed to conjure from the original tapes a such brilliant sound that you'd think it were a modern production. Never before Foreigner sounded so dynamic and open and rarely before the air guitar begged to such strokes. One of those albums that is absolutely worth listening loud.
The MFSL reissue takes on the cover image of the departing train at the back and is based also on the original. The LP appears as Limited Editon with consecutive serial number.
